The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce’s March Sundowner at Vigilucci’s Ristorante Pizzeria on North Coast Hwy 101 in Leucadia was a great evening. Beautiful weather, charming patio local, amazing food and desserts, door prizes and the reintroduced Pot O Gold drawing treated the crowd to the perfect networking and information gathering event.
Marshall Weinreb, CEO, obtained guest speakers:
- Henry Tirado from the Sheriff’s Department, who brought a wealth of information for businesses on how to improve security.
- Isaac Trotta, Boy Scout representative, spoke about Troop activities and their pancake breakfast.
- Joe Erdelen, Costco representative, introduced all Costco has to offer, and brought delicious cakes.
- Emily Coupe YMCA director of special events, and Robert Green talked about the YMCA’s “Raising The Roof” event, which added a nice community spirit as well as useful information.
- Sherry Hodges representative from Martin Garrick’s office,
- Theresa Barth Encinitas City Council, represented local government.
Denise Joseph, event coordinator for Vigilucci’s, was so pleased with the positive feedback about the restaurant that she said, “ That was so much fun! When can we have another one?”
ECC Board President Angel Haag, the Chamber Ambassadors and members did their usual excellent job of making all feel welcome and and arranging for the raffle prizes. Debbie Caligiuri, membership director, and Suzanne Perez Swanson, Board member pulled everything together and also enjoyed the event.
The April Sundowner will be at the Elk’s Lodge in Cardiff on April 20th. There will be prizes and surprises, food and drink, and networking opportunities.
